Hole Eighteen

“A great par 5 to finish with the 19th in sight. The hole plays shorter than the yardage due to a fast running downhill fairway. The perfect drive needs to favour the left side the of the marker to account for the left to right sloping fairway leaving a fairway wood or long iron into the green. The second shot needs to be well threaded through the fairway bunkers short of a well-protected narrow green. Ensure you get yardage right for your layup when playing in 3 as could leave a very awkward 60-yard bunker shot. On the face of it can seem a quite easy par 5 but can easily catch you out and needs to be treated with respect.”
